Mike Bones, whose album The Sky Behind the Sea was released on The Social Registry label about a year ago, is doing a last minute show at Family this weekend. Full details after the jump.
Family is located 436 N. Fairfax. It's actually a book store with a small record selection and a bunch of local zines and art. It's where you might find early No Age 7"s and other local goodies. Every once in a while they host djs and bands for a crowded but intimate performance. So on Saturday at 2 p.m. Mike Bones will be playing his lonesome guitar songs for free.
Obviously there's a lot going on this weekend, but 2 p.m. is pretty early so you should be able to make it and still make Detour or the Eagle Rock Fest.
