In the first of two rare performances this week, she'll manipulate field recordings and "acoustic objects" with Swiss bassist Christian Weber and Chicago experimenter Adam Sonderberg, who'll create buzzing drones by applying low tones to a snare drum. Dancer Asimina Chremos, vocalist Carol Genetti, and sound artist Aaron Zarzutzki perform second; sound artist Joseph Clayton Mills and reedist Jason Stein open. A surround-sound installation called Train Time, which Block created with Shawn Decker, Ryan Ingebritsen, and Lou Mallozzi, will run from 10 AM till 10 PM at Pritzker Pavilion; it's free, and along with Sunday's show it's part of this year's Outer Ear Festival of Sound.
